Nearly two years ago, a dear co-worker gave me some Wilton springform pans as a going-away gift when I moved here to Ohio. I have made a few cheesecakes, but nothingggg has come close to the recipe I tried this week.
It is absolutely divine.
And heart-clutching.
It calls for 5 bricks of cream cheese.
Uh. huh.
I love it.
Isn't it pretty?
It tasted even better than it looked.
I also made a blueberry topping, which was also decadent, if I do say so myself.
Here's the recipe.
I adjusted this recipe by doubling the crumb crust so I could have crust on the sides, also I used just orange zest (didn't want to buy a lemon). I used a 10" pan because the 9" was not large enough for all the batter. I also lowered the starting temperature to 400 degrees for 12 minutes, then lowered it to 200 degrees for 1.5 hours. It probably could have baked for another 15 minutes maybe, because the middle was just the taddest bit soft.

Oh gosh that looks absolutely perfect! I don't know if I can bear slicing into that prettiness! :) So yummy, and thanks for sharing the recipe!
Visiting you from Things I Love Thursday!
Beautiful! To say the least!
I LOVE cheesecake. And I am not talking about the boxed jello variety.
