Clutter Buster {Garage Before and After}

Ben and I are on a mission to declutter our lives and home.  I tackled the hall closet a couple weeks ago.  Last week, Ben and I tackled the garage.  It was so much fun doing it together.  We had some teenage friends over to watch the girls so we could maximize our time in the evening.  It took us two evenings, and we spent about 5 or 6 hours total.  We have a car trunk full of things to give away, and another box that came in the house to be sorted. 

There's nothing like a good before and after picture series right, so feast your eyes upon this mess!

Clutter Buster {Hall Closet Before and After}

We're all friends, right?  So when you see the picture below, you're still gonna love me, I know.  You may not take anymore home care advice from me, I understand, but we'll still be friends, k?

Some people have junk drawers... I seem to have a junk closet.  It's a little scary, and after reading an organizational book (review coming on Friday!) I said, "Enough's enough."  I rolled back my sleeves and tackled it.  It's officially my pantry, but Ben still stashes his tools in the bottom two shelves, and another shelf holds all our photo albums and off-season household decor.  I think it's safe to say it's a disaster.
