Happy Thanksgiving! What a unique holiday this is. We reserve one day a year to reflect on our many blessings and thank the Source of those gifts. James 1:17 says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift cometh down from the Father of lights..." I love the poetry of the Bible. "The Father of lights"--what a word picture! I'm so thankful for a Heavenly Father who always gives us exactly what we need, when we need it. It also comforts me to know that I can rest in his omniscience. Just as my Gracie does not worry if she will be clothed and fed, I also can be content in my Father's care for me. My Heavenly Father watches over me. Thank you, Father, for your provision!
