Grace made her baking debut this week with Cheesy Garlic Toast! She was sky-high excited, and it was alot of fun to work together with her getting dinner ready.
Unwrapping the butter
Placing it in the microwave; she was pretty nervous about this step, because touching the microwave has always been a big no-no.
Painting the bread with garlic butter
All done and ready for the oven. It took her about 20 minutes to paint the bread. No lie. She had to take numerous breaks to tell me all kinds of good stuff. She's definitely not a multi-tasker. Yet.
Adding the mozzarella cheese. Another task that required concentration of the utmost sort.
Is that not a pleased as punch look or what?

That is so AWESOME! You've inspired me to have my kids do little things to help clean up...Thank you!! My son now enjoys helping to sort laundry and put a load in the washing machine. I will gladly hand over that job to him when he is old enough to do it all on his own! :)
Grandma and Grandpa want to know if Gracie will fix them garlic toast when they come to see her?
I just asked her, and she said, "Sure. Maybe...but not this week. Tomorrow we can make that." I guess that's a yes?!
Ok only I would probably notice this, but loved the fact that your name was of course on the calendar. Neat.
