I am trying to cut my grocery budget down to $35-40 per week, and I am definitely feeling it. Last week, we had company and I DIDN'T do very well. I am seriously considering the envelope cash system, as it is very hard to say no sometimes, especially when it's a great deal. I spent $53.75, so I was $13.75 over my desired goal. I need to get more intense about this, I can tell. This week I had company again, and I am going down to Amish Country, so I have a bad feeling already.
