I'm leaving today for a mini-trip! I'm leaving this morning with some friends from church who offered to give me a ride. We are all traveling to attend the wedding of a mutual friend in Indiana. Ben will not be coming, as he has to work, but I'm really looking forward to a fun, free trip to Indiana, seeing my family over this holiday weekend, attending the wedding, and meeting my new niece! What a blessing! I'll be back Monday evening.
In case you need a reminder of the reason we commemorate Memorial Day, watch the movie below. Even if you've watched it before, it is still moving. The musical accompanist drives me a little batty with her artistic license as applied to Amazing Grace, but you can just mute it.
