I fixed heart-shaped pizza for dinner last night. I also made a really yummy spinach salad with my own salad dressing. Ben said the pizza was good but a little dry, and he enjoyed the salad and dressing.
Spinach salad: Romaine Lettuce, Fresh Spinach, Cranberries, Walnuts, Sharp White Cheddar, and my new dressing recipe. The dressing is what makes it, in my opinion. It's kind of a cross between French and plain oil and vinegar.
The Chicken Alfredo Pizza:
Make 45 minute dough. Shape into heart. Give edges a little crust.
Top with Alfredo sauce, fresh spinach, cooked chicken chunks, and sliced mushrooms.
Top with mozzarella cheese slices, shreds or crumbles. (I used fresh mozzarella balls that had been given to us and squashed them with my fingers!)
Bake for 12-14 minutes in pre-heated 450* oven until cheese is lightly browned.
