Where's an Ark When You Need It?

Puddle-jumping indoors!  Grace enjoyed stomping in the water, but she didn't want daddy to take her picture.  It was too early in the morning for that.  The house flooded about 4:30 a.m., but she slept right through it all until we woke her up at 7:30!  Thankfully, a lot of the water receded on its own, and the carpet sucked up a lot as well.
Our assistant pastor came over and helped Ben move everything and pull up the carpets and padding and get them to the dumpster.
It felt like moving day again!
My mother-in-law made us dinner and set up a little island oasis in the midst of our flooded mess.  (See the little palm tree  on the table?)

Finally, a return to normalcy.  We have concrete floors for now until we have new flooring installed.  We plan to put ceramic tile in the bathroom, kitchen and dining room.  We are looking to order carpet tiles for the bedrooms, hall, and living room.

Wow! What an ordeal, April! But what a blessing to get some new flooring. I love the big area rug in your living room!
