I looked out my living room window on Wednesday to see a fawn running past. I grabbed my camera to see if I could grab a shot. I ran outside and was amazed to see two fawns with no mother, snacking just outside my neighbor's condo.
I kept as still as possible, keeping my movements muted and non-threatening. The fawns actually started walking towards me! A car pulled up and scared them off about 2 minutes later.
These pictures are straight from the camera. I was amazed at how tame they were!

They don't have fear as we expect it. The car, as a large moving object, would kick in instinctive fear. We're blessed here in the county to see them often. I wonder where their mother was!
