Weight Loss {Scaling Back}

I've had some health issues that I think I can trace back to a triple dose of antibiotic medicine at the beginning of the year, so I decided to go sugar-free and carb-free for the month of March, hoping to wage a little war against the yeast overgrowth.  Amazingly, the scale has been dropping like I haven't seen since I followed Weight Watchers last year.  Yippee!

So I'm going to disclose my weight.  I know, women aren't supposed to disclose their age or weight, but... I figure if a person can see you, they can probably guess pretty close, so why hide it?  Besides, accountability is an awesome motivator for me.

I'm not really following any specific diet plan. I've just been eating only food that is "God-made".  No pasta, no flours, no breads, no sugars. Just fruits, veggies, eggs, meat, and milk products. Oh...and peanut butter.  I couldn't give it up.

 March 1st

March 3

March 6

 March 9

 March 12

Is it just me, or does following a new eating lifestyle require a state of mind that cannot be "willed" into existence?  Please share your thoughts!

woo hooo! Keep it up!
And yes, even cut out dairy for a week and see how you feel. I became vegan a few years ago, and thought I would struggle with giving up ice cream, but I created my own vegan style ice cream that's actually really good:

Several frozen bananas (thawed)
4-8 oz soft tofu
a few tbsp of cocoa powder

Blend these to taste! I actually like the taste of tofu, but for those whom I know don't care for it, use more banana. And tofu actually has a lot of protein! :)
