Curtain Call Easter Dresses

During a trip to the resale shop last month armed with a 50% off coupon, I found three panels of the same curtains for a total of $3.50.  That's $1.75 after my coupon.  I loved the material, which is somewhat like a dotted Swiss, but what really captivated me was the darling three-tiered ruffle along the edge.
I immediately decided it would be fabulous material for the girls' Easter dresses.  It was like instant cuteness with the ruffles!  I must admit that I felt a bit like Maria von Tropp from the Sound of Music, but I always did love a little drama! :)
Here's Leah's, which I completed first.  I thought hers was the hard one, but I ripped out every seam on Grace's dress at least once.  Sewing has never been my forte.
Here they are in the backyard at my in-law's house.  It's hard to see the detail in the material, but they were so cute.  Grace loves her "princess" dress.
And, in a fit of insanity, I decided to make myself a matching dress as well, using the bits and scraps left over.
I started mine on Friday, and finished it in the 'wee' hours of Sunday morning.  I was bushed Sunday night, but it was great fun to match the girls.
I thought the all-white dress looked like nurse scrubs, so I added a fun little rosette at the waist to make it less sterile, so to speak.

I had planned on dying the dresses light pink, but Ben thought white was nice for Easter.  Whaddya think?  Should I dye them now?

What about adding a pink ribbon somewhere or adding a contrasting fabric to give it a "pop"?

My husband now thinks you can do multiple miracles -- find things on sale, and put them to their best use. The dresses are darling, and all three of you girls look lucious. Good job!!!
