On the first day of Christmas

a pie with an apple filling.
After a friend mentioned the idea of doing a "12 days of Christmas" theme for her husband, I decided it would be a fun idea for Ben as well. Over the next 12 days till Christmas, I will chronicle the gifts I'm giving Ben. They are all simple, inexpensive, generally consumable, and gifts he will enjoy.

I love the 12 days of Christmas! But we start them on the Christmas Day. The first day of Christmas is the day Christ was born...at least for us.
